with castles and forts, and includes a shipping
post at Takoradi, rich farming region with Cocoa
and rubber plantations .The region includes some
of the old goldmines in Ghana, In this region is
the strange village in the center of the Lake Tandane,
with house built on stilts. A canoe trip through
the village is an exceptional adventure. Visitors
are welcomed all days except Thursdays (sacred).
30km from Takoradi , lies Akatekyi Crocodile pond,
where the local fetish Priest lures crocodiles with
five chicken. |
